COFFE BREAK THOUGHTS

Sometimes, all you need is a quiet moment.
No big thoughts, no big words — just a few minutes to breathe, hold a warm cup, and be still.

I’ve been thinking way too long about how to properly introduce this new corner of the blog. But maybe it doesn’t need a perfect introduction. Maybe it’s simply this: a space for small pauses. For the kind of days when all you can do is sit down with your coffee and try to make sense of whatever’s going on.

Right now, I’m in recovery — my wisdom teeth were removed a few days ago, and I’ve been living through a coffee-deprived week (it’s… not going great). The pain is manageable, but the lack of coffee and spicy food has definitely left a mark on my mood. I’m currently searching for food that doesn’t make me feel even more "meh" — because, let’s be honest, good food and coffee are basically core ingredients for a functioning and happy me.

Maybe that’s why I felt a bit off today. I spent the day cleaning my apartment and watching When Life Gives You Tangerines (iykyk) because anything light-hearted was just not the vibe today. It left me with that quiet kind of sadness that doesn’t ask for attention but lingers anyway. I’ve never been one to watch light-hearted things — I always tend to drift toward the ones that carry a bit of weight. And today, that weight felt familiar.

I guess some days are just like that. A little off. A little slower. And maybe the best thing we can do is let it be. Not fix it. Just sit with it. So if you're feeling a little off too — that's okay.

Take your time.

Breathe.

Enjoy your coffee (if you can). ☕
